Home Help

The Care Team’s primary goal is to enable individuals to receive person centred care and support in the comfort of their own homes.  This type of care aims to help individuals maintain their independence, autonomy, and quality of life while receiving the assistance they need to thrive.

Convalescent/ Respite Care

Respite care refers to a temporary break or relief provided to primary caregivers who are responsible for the care of a loved one. This type of care allows caregivers to have some time off to rest, recharge, and attend to their own needs while ensuring that their loved one continues to receive the necessary care and support.

Sleeping Night Care

Sleeping overnights involve a care assistant staying overnight at an individual’s home to provide assistance and support less than 3 times during the nighttime hours. This service is particularly beneficial for individuals who may need help during the night, such as those who have mobility issues, memory impairments, or require assistance with personal care tasks.

Waking Night Care

Waking overnights involve a caregiver staying awake and actively providing assistance and support throughout the night to individuals who require constant monitoring or frequent care. This service is typically needed for individuals who have complex medical conditions, require assistance with mobility, or have cognitive impairments that may lead to wandering or confusion during the night.

Dementia Care

Dementia care involves specialized support and assistance provided to individuals who are living with dementia in the comfort of their own homes. Dementia is a progressive condition that affects cognitive function, memory, and behavior, making it challenging for individuals to perform daily tasks and maintain their independence.

Live in Care

Live-in care is a comprehensive caregiving service where a caregiver resides in the individual’s home to provide continuous support and assistance. This type of care is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual and can include personal care, medication management, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping.
